Many feel the treasured wild bird of North America in the summer is the Painted Bunting. Excited to present to you a new stationery card design of this male I captured in our garden one afternoon perched on blackberry bushes eating late summer grass seed. They sing one of the prettiest songs as well. A bird lover's delight as he is looking right at you.

Card design was set to highlight the painted bunting in color with his natural surroundings yet giving the appearance he is 'painted' on a marble egg from the branches grayed out in his background. A Robin egg blue for a border, and one more highlight for this treasured bird... Hand embossed textured card detail. The oval border around the bunting is hand debossed.
